How will I be assessed?

Level 1 - Basic research from limited sources when assessing the feasibility of, and managing, the project. The research is limited and candidates’ research findings
are used to provide basic information for the running of the project. Decisions could be made from the research as to the appropriate project to run, but are not always easy to follow. Ideas are communicated in a way that is adequate to convey meaning with no
more than limited use of specialist vocabulary. There are noticeable errors in accepted conventions of written communication.
(1 – 4 marks)

Level 2 - Clear research from different sources when assessing the feasibility of, and managing, the project. Some of the research is relevant and most of the findings are used to inform the running of the project. Decisions could be made from the research as to the appropriate project to run, but are not always fully justified. Ideas are communicated with some structure evident with some use of appropriate specialist vocabulary. There are some errors in accepted conventions of written communication.
(5 – 8 marks)

Level 3 - Detailed research from a range of sources when assessing the feasibility of, and managing, the project. The research is mainly relevant and research findings are used to inform the running of the project. Decisions could be made from the research as to the appropriate project to run, and sound justification given. Ideas are communicated using a logical structure with good use of specialist vocabulary where appropriate. There are occasional errors in accepted conventions of written
communication.
(9 – 12 marks)

Level 4 - Excellent research from a broad range of sources when assessing the feasibility of, and managing, the project.
